Anw, happy white day folks..
Wanna tell a story bout valentine's day and white day..
So, Valentine’s Day is over, which means men can finally relax and stop stressing about what they need to do and buy ladyfriends, right? Well, not in South Korea.
In Korea, Valentine’s Day (Red Day), which has grown in popularity over the past decade, is now a very popular consumer driven day whereby only women give the men in their lives gifts and chocolates to show their affection. However, men don’t get off that easy, there is a whole different day, exactly a month later on March 14, where men are expected to return the favor. This dreaded day is very originally coined ‘White Day‘.

But get this! There is another day, a month after White Day called….. ‘Black Day‘. This day is reserved for all the loners who didn’t give or receive anything for White or Red Day. It’s an informal tradition for single people to get together and eat jajangmyeon (noodles with black bean sauce), sometimes a white sauce is mixed for those who did not celebrate White Day.

Koreans are very symbolic people. Colorful too ;)

ANW, HAVE A HAPPY WHITE DAY !
